As per last year's trends IIT kharagpur chemical engineering closes at 937 for girls and 834 for boys( SC rank) so with a rank of 2268, chemical is totally out of your hand. But if you are particular about IIT KGP then you can try for other branches like metallurgy the cutoff there was 2056 which is close to yours. Best of luck
