Hi Tanmay!
If you uploaded only the caste validity receipt earlier, and now you have the original certificate, the process is simple. Log in to your CET application portal during the document update window (if it’s open), replace the old file with the scanned copy of the original certificate. If the portal doesn’t allow changes now, visit your designated facilitation centre (FC) with the original and request them to upload it in your profile. Make sure the scanned copy is clear, in PDF/JPEG, and under the size limit. If your certificate is not updated before seat allotment verification, take it physically to the allotted institute during admission reporting.
Thanks and best wishes !
Hello Tanmay,
If you uploaded your caste validity receipt prior to the CET CAP rounds, but now have your original caste validity certificate, then you will need to:
In case, You have already uploaded your caste validity receipt prior to the CET CAP round and you have now received your original cast validity certificate, then you must show follow- up your documents to the CET portal (e.g.. MHT CET in case you are in Maharashtra) as soon as possible.
This is what you have to do:
log in to your CET candidate portal Navigate to the swabing the Edit/Update Document Upload tab Send your own sharable caste validity certificate instead of the receipt Send and send to the changes
Provided the option to upload is locked, one can visit the nearest Setu Centre or Facilitation Centre (FC) and ask them to update your document.
Besides, the final certificate and the receipt should be kept at hand at the time of verification of documents during counseling.
Do not forget to bring the update to the last list of merit or allotment so that you are not disqualified.
