There is a rating system based on your scores for IIMs. You are rated based on your scores in 10th and 12th and then shortlisted. For example, if you look at 10th percentage vs marks,

Now in 12th, you can be a Science student or an Arts student or a Commerce student.

Percentage in the 12th Arts/humanities

And that is not it, You also have Bachelor's degree ratings, Academic profile, Academic diversity to b e considered. And you will need more than 95 percentile to be considered for IIM Ahmedabad. The minimum percentiles based on previous year cut offs have been as follows:
