Dear aspirant,

As you have mentioned that you have got cse in in vit vellore in category 3 so consider this as your final allotment .

For category 1 or category you would be alloted in different campuses like chennai or Bhopal or andhra pradesh. So, if you are opting for category 3 there would be option for branch sliding in your 1st year but your category won't be changed with that.

I think you should try for ece branch too if you have any problem with category 3 as the fees is very high in these categories.

Hi Kiran,

Vellore Institute of technology has announced counselling results for phase 1. Students were given a provisional allotment on the basis of their slot filling and  rank secured in VITEEE. As per the released notification, any requests for change in campus, course or category shall not be entertained.

So there is no way that you can change your allotted branch adding to it no one is allowed to participate in the counselling more than once.
