Hi Ankit,

So glad that you really cracked both of them fortunately. I would always advise to choose a branch over a college. Please pursue your interests. Sometimes we are blinded by the brand name,and it's okay. Choose one that you like doing,Computer Science or Industrial Engineering. It is completely okay to go with NITR over IIT KGP. Think carefully.

Hello Ankit,
Choosing a branch is completely upto you. If you are interested in Computer science engineering choose it. If you are interested in the other one choose that. If you want to choose a branch based on the packages you get right after college, then,
IIT kgp industrial design - 30-40LPA
NITR CSE - 39LPA(highest), 3LPA(lowest)
Choose wisely by considering factors like your interests and the academic areas you are good at.
