As you mentioned your PESSAT rank is 990 therefore it is little bit difficult to get CSE branch in round 1 itself.

In Round 1 you can expect all branches expect CSE like ECE, mechanical etc.

Last year closing rank for CSE in round 1 was nearly about 840 so if luck will be in your favour then you can expect in round 1 itself else you have to wait for round 2.

With a rank of 990 you may be able to get CSE branch in PES University according to final round ranks from previous years which closed at 1000.

However, If you are interested in other branches here are their final ranks - 

EC branch - upto 1500

EE branch - upto 2000

Civil, Mechanical, Bio-Tech - upto 3000
