Important
Mathematics must be a separate and passed subject.
Keep both marksheets during counselling.
Always check the current year information brochure before applying.
Hope it helps !
Hello, If you passed Class 12 with PCB from a recognized board and later passed Mathematics separately through NIOS, both exams generally accept this combination. NTA (for JEE Main) and the Maharashtra CET authority allow Mathematics taken from NIOS as an additional subject, as long as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are all passed at the 10+2 level from recognized boards. However, your Mathematics marks from NIOS must be declared as passed before the exam or counselling, and you should have valid mark sheets for both PCB and Mathematics. During counselling, you may be asked to submit both mark sheets together as proof of eligibility. So, with PCB from your original board and Mathematics from NIOS, you can apply for JEE Main and MHT-CET, subject to meeting other general eligibility rules like year of passing and age criteria. I hope this helps you.
