For admission in NIT colleges, the candidate should get a 75% in 12th exam with Physics, Maths, Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology or be the top 20th percentile in the 12th board exam. For SC/ST students the qualifying percentage is 65% in class 12. Additionally, the candidate should undergo the JEE Mains exam followed by counselling.
