Hi,

Last year cutoff for MSc geophysics in BHU PET was around 170. This year you can expect more or less similar one. The cut off marks depend on so many factors such as number of candidate appeared,difficulty of exam, number of seat available etc. So don't lose hope, you have other options if you loose this one. All the best

Indu Hi,

Have you considered applying for JAM exam. The online application is active is now. You can apply for it. It is a joint examination conducted for the admission to postgraduate/integrated PhD programmes in IITs,IISc etc .The official site is

You can also check the courses list and institutions offering the courses in the above website.
Also kurukshethra university offers MSc in applied geophysics but hurry the last date is 15.10.2020

And don't loose hope yet, BHU haven't released the cut off yet. An accurate prediction is not possible. So let's wait for the release. May be this year there will be less cut off. All the best.
