I have scored lil bit good marks in Hindi compared to English. So, can I include Hindi core instead of English in my BO4 subjects of DU.

Hello Anjana,

Yes , you can include hindi instead of English if you scored better in hindi than English for calculating your percentage of best 4 subjects.

It is necessary to include one language subject whether it is English or Hindi along with 3 other subjects for the calculation percentage of best 4 subjects.

If the one subject in which the admission is to be sought is not included then students have to bear the deduction of 2.5 percent from the aggregate of best four for stream change

The other two subjects include academic or elective subjects as per list A. If candidate does not include the subjects as enlisted in list A then again the penalty of  deduction of 2.5 percent will be imposed.

Good luck,

Hope it helps :)
