Firstly , congratulations for your outstanding rank in JEE Mains, it's exceptional ranking so great and I'm sure you did your best. Now, both the colleges you wanted to compare are NITs and so both of them are obviously are out of the bests in the country. But if you really have to choose between civil engineering and computer science engineering, I'll personally suggest you to opt for computer science engineering if you are getting that. Computer science is undoubtedly the most important branch of engineering, in my opinion ofcourse, and it's growth is increasing in a very rapid rate. The demands are really high too, and this branch usually has the highest placements in most colleges. So, yes definitely i would suggest you to opt for CSE in NIT jamshedpur.
