I have selected SOL as other preference when I'm filling my PG application in Delhi University what does this really mean

Hi dear,
      SOL means school of open learning.It is a college under Delhi university which provides UG and PG courses for those students who want to complete their graduation and post graduation with distance mode of learning. It's a part of DU.

Thank you bt if I select SOL option does this mean I can only study in distance mode and not on the regular mode

So I should only study in  distance education from all the colleges which I put in my preferences list in my application form
