I have written KCET entrance exam, however I have made decision to join a college of my choice thru Management Quota. however I have uploaded my documents in the KCET site but not yet entered the preferences. Can I opt out to not to participate in the couselling process?

Hi Anand,

Any student does not bound admission through KCET. If you have uploaded the documents and has not entered the preference, then there is no issue, and you can take admission through Management Quota in any college as per your choice.

You can abandon the KCET counseling process and don't participate in further rounds.

If you have obtained a confirmed seat through management quota, then you can simply opt out of KCET counselling by not reporting to the document verification centre. However, keep in mind that you won't be allowed to participate further in KCET counselling, that is option entry or seat allotment, just in case you have change of plans at the last moment.
