Hello Deepa,

There are 17 National Law universities in India and One National Law University Delhi whcih takes admission Through AILET (All India Law Entrance Test ).

If say, I sit for CLAT this year and the admissions for NLS, Bangalore close at 145. So if I score well within that range, I get the college. As rightly pointed out in other answers, it is affected by your rank and percentile.

If you want to get into any NLU in the country your rank should be within 1000 or so. If you wish to get into one of the top 3 colleges in the country it should be within 200 or so. All this is for a general category seat.

Dear Aspirant, there is no proper cut off marks for getting admission in this university. But form the previous years statistics,

For general category category - 450(for general category with state domicile - 2600).

For SC category - 8850.

For ST category - 11600.

These are the closing rank.
