Getting direct admissions into Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) second year is valid for only diploma degree holders or equivalent to that. This is done through Lateral Entry process where in students join in 4th Semester (2nd year) after clearing the entrance test IPU CET. But if you belong to full time college or 10+2 school system then you will have to appear for the admission as a regular student and join in from 1st year. For B.Tech the admissions in IPU is done on the basis of National Level Exam (JEE Mains).
