Dear Aspirant,

You have to first appear in the Common Aptitude Test( CAT ). This is a national level aptitude test for graduates seeking admission into various IIMs all over the country. The test contains of three sections:

  • Reading Comprehension and Verbal Ability (34 Questions)
  • Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation ( 32 Questions )
  • Quantitative Ability (34 Questions )

Each question have +3 marks for correct attempt and -1 for wrong attempt. You have to score minimum 150 marks for the admission in IIMs.

That too is a long process, you have to have a good previous academic record also to get a call. IIMs call on the aspirant on the basis of the candidate's previous academic performance and CAT score.

Hope this helps. Thank you.
