Institute of engineering and technology was established in 1975 and it is affiliated to bundelkhand university, approved by ACITE. its campus is also  spreaded over the area of 186 acres and is very well connected to the city of jhansi.placements recorded from past years are also vey good and infrastructure facilities are also very good.

• The entire courses are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
• The Mechanical Engineering Department is accredited by National Board of Accreditation(NBA) w.e.f. 20 Nov 2019 for 3 years
• B.I.E.T. is affiliated to AKTU Lucknow for award of the degree of B.Tech, M.Tech & M.B.A.
