If a person secures more than the required cutoff marks and fails to score the minimum cutoff marks in a particular subject then he won't be qualifying JEE Advanced and can't get a seat in any IIT. Hence to qualify in advanced aspirants must score a total more than the minimum cutoff marks and must qualify in every subject by scoring minimum requirements cutoff. in jee advance examination you have to clear the total cutoffs marks as well as individual cutoff marks of each subject. if student can score higher than cutoff marks but fails to cross the cutoff marks of one subject he is not egligible for taking admission in any iit.
