Of course, you need to pass the paper, you failed. Besides you can pursue higher studies either thru a open university like IGNOU or regular college, if you meet their cut off after adding minimum passing marks in the subject you failed in. I would say go for open university, the safest choice,even if you don’t get passed in supplementary exam.
