Zakir Husain Delhi College has a placement cell to provide students with a sense of direction and exposure to the variety of openings and job opportunities available to them as they graduate from the college. The placement cell's goal includes preparing the student to confidently enter the next phase of life and equipping her/him with the ability to use and connect 'learning' with the living of life. In addition, the cell organises grooming sessions for students in order to prepare them for group discussions and personal interviews. Language modules, personality tests, and interactive sessions were all part of it.

Placements

The placements I would say are pretty average, the placement cell is inactive as of now but th college focusses on skill development and overall development of the students by offering them various part time courses, knowledge about competitive exams

• Placements are not very strong, which is common for most non-professional DU colleges. Some companies visit, but mostly for arts and commerce students. Science students usually qo for higher studies. • Students often rely on off-campus placements or government exams after graduation

Placements are decent, with top companies visiting for recruitment. The college provides good training, mock interviews, and internships to boost employability. Packages vary by skills and branch, but many students secure jobs. A strong network helps in career growth.

Hi,

Don’t Judge college by NIRF ranking. all the colleges of Delhi university are equally good. the only things matters is the Crowd and Location. As per my knowledge Location is very good situated in the Heart of New Delhi near Civic Centre near New Delhi Railway station.

For crowd and Society there are good crowd (not as good as other North campus colleges) but still i think enough for your joy. you can also go to Connaught Place for better crowd. its just 1–2 km away from the college. better place to eat, chill, to be fresh.
Teaching faculty are awesome. each and every staff will care for you Individually. awesome in their job. simply no comments.
College have NCC society as well as Debate society including many other cultural and departmental society. just countless.
I personally think the campus of ZAKIR HUSAIN DELHI COLLEGE is one of the most beautiful campus in Delhi University college. college have to many Blocks and one big Auditorium capacity of nearly 400 seats. better collection of flower in campus all around. a 11 story building is completed for the students. to provide to much facilities. PM will inaugurate this year in 2019.
College have one of the biggest library In Delhi university. total collection of 1,00,000 books. with to All newspapers in almost every language and too many magazines with seating capacity of 125 student at a time.

My name was came in 3rd cut off of zakir Hussai clg, now the fifth cut off was released tomorrow can I get admission in it

Hey Sneha,

According to the rules of Delhi University, if you are eligible for any College according to a particular cutoff and you have not applied for it you will not be given admission to it in that cutoff. But you can apply for college in next cutoff but as you missed your seat in previous cutoff you will be considered as a 'defaulter' and will be called for admission on the third day of next cutoff.

You cannot expect to be admitted in Zakir Hussain College on the basis of merit only. If you have An ECA or sports quota then there is some hope for you. If your question remains unanswered or you have any more queries then feel free to ask.
