if anyone who had crack jee advance is allowed to get admission in iisc .then why not all get selected to this institution ? is any other creteria is followed?

There are two types of cut off's. Qualifying cut off and admission cut off. Admission cut off's are announced by the particular University. Regarding IISC Bangalore, it is the first choice for most of the candidates giving JEE Advanced. And also remember that the seats are limited in any Institute. They can't give admission to all the students. Just qualifying JEE Advanced is not enough. You have to be in the top rank holders of JEE Advanced to get a seat in IISC Bangalore.
