First let me make you clear that no any branch is low in anyway.
If you work hard, you can excel in any subject.
Every branch of engineering has wide scope and growth.
Now, if you don't get branch of your choice in 1st round, then just accept whatever branch you get.
2nd round Counselling is conducted almost a month later and many students get placed in some other colleges like Nits, iits.
You'll have lot of options in the round 2.
