If you have placed good courses of good iit above the course that you are alloted then there is a chance of getting what you want .But if you hadn't placed any IIT colleges above that college that you are alloted then if you flaot then there will be chance of getting the same college in the next round or you can get any college which you have placed above the preparatory course in your choice filling round .
