Dear candidate......

If you have mentioned yourself as an OBC candidate at the time of applying JEE MAINS, then you must provide the required OBC certificate at the time of counseling to get admission based on your OBC rank. Otherwise your candidature as an OBC may be rejected and you will get colleges based upon the general rank. But if the certificate is in process, then you must provide an affidavit mentioning the same at the time of counseling. But it is upto the verifier to accept your application.

Hello Nandlal,

           JoSSA counselling will commence int he second week of June. Firstly you will be required to login and fill preferences. After this two mock rounds of allotment will be held. And only after that, in the first round of main allotment, which is held in the fourth week of June, you will be required to show your OBC NCL certificate for document verification step.

So, you need not worry because you have nearly 3 weeks for procuring the certificate, since its already in the process.
