Hi

Practising the board syllabus will definitely clear your concepts and make your base on mathematics strong. However, in competitive exams, many other other factors come in. Like :

  • Timing
  • application of concepts
  • Combination of multiple concepts

To get a hold on these factors, you can practice a few questions of competitive exams also every day.

This will help you in your competitive exams.

All the best!
