WBJEE is a state level entrance examination to offer admissions in various Undergraduate courses in Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture.WBJEE 2020 will have two papers, Paper-1 in Mathematics and a combined paper of Physics and Chemistry as Paper-2.Preparation from NCERT books will be sufficient to clear the exam with good results.along with that you can include Objective Mathematics by R.D. Sharma,H.C verma and DC Pandey for physics and O.P Tandon for chemistry in your preparation for good results.

Hello Aspirant,

I would like to tell you that NCERT books actually cover the fundamentals of all topics for students deeply. Basically, it gives you a clear concept of all the topics. So, NCERT textbooks can be used to cover the syllabus but for a better score you need a good knowledge of each topic vastly. Noone can assume and tell you the marks you will score if you only practice questions from NCERT or even you practice from different other study materials. To score good, you need a lot of "Practice" and "Understanding" of each topics from the very basic.

Hope this information will help you.

Good Luck!

Hi there ,

Hope you're having a great day.

I would like to inform you that for securing good marks in WBJEE 2020 you need to focus more on maths rather than in Physics and Chemistry because Mathematics alone covers 50% of the marking scheme than the rest two.

As for Chemistry, NCERT books will be enough.

For physics you can go for books by DC Pandey which will help you a lot for preparation of WBJEE.

Text book+HC VERMA +Arihant practice books+previous years question.

FOR MATHS-

NCERTs+RD SHARMA+ARIHANT(seperate books on CALCULAS,ALGEBRA,VECTOR,etc). Then switch to SK GOYEL's PRACTICE BOOK.

Once you are done then switch to previous years question WBJEE,JEE MAINS,JEE ADVANCED and POSSIBLE EVERY ENTRANCE's Ques paper.

Then join any mock test program for evaluating yourself.

If you have any further questions just let me know in the comments section below, Ill help you out as soon as possible.

Thanks a lot and best of luck for your future ahead.
