If mother of a candidate is born in Maharashtra but now living in Delhi Is the candidate eligible under category B to give Maharashtra CET

Dear Student.

Yes, because as per the eligibilty criteria, Candidates must have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and secured a minimum of 50 % aggregate marks belonging to Maharashtra State only. For this, You either need a birth certificate or domicile certificate.

So u mean to say even a student resident of Delhi but because of her mother's domicile will be eligible to given the exam and will be considered in the 85 percent state seats
