bits m.tech admission has done through gate score or bitshd program score, however the following criteria is applied for receiving the scholarship.

Students admitted through Hd Program based on gate or gpat score are eligible to apply for scholarship as per MHRD/ UGC norms. institute would forward their applications to MHRD/ UGC as per regulations.

Now coming to students who has taken admission to BITS hd program norms would eligible for 13400 monthly scholarship. however in case students have valid gate / gpat score are eligible to apply for scholarships to mhrd/ ugc norms. institute would forward their applications. however those candidates will not eligible for institutional scholarship.

so now that you may understand, you can not receive two scholarships simultaneously.

If any candidate clear GATE examination and apply BITS. So if you are qualified GATE then you get stipend from there if you take admission in any institution. And BITS if you want to take admission and go for HD programme test and interview then also get the BITS stipend. So you will get both stipend.
