Hey Priya ,

They sometimes announce increase number of rankings for their convenience as they need to take buffer for some seats because some students may cancel their admission .

thanx for your answer .......its just that the variations are huge and thats my biggest concern as i was expecting it but the closing rank has gone quite high..
