Dear Kanchan,

If the previous year's trend continues then you have tough luck getting any govt mbbs college with a score of 460 since the previous year's cut off for all mbbs colleges was more than 479 for UR category.

You must keep in mind that each year cut off fluctuate due to change in the number of students appearing in exam, their performance, available seats etc.

You must keep an eye on AIQ in other states as well, if you really want do mbbs no matter where the location is.

You can refer the link below to check out the cut off of  previous year of various states for both AIQ and state quota.

I hope this solves your query.

Hello Kanchan !
I am very sorry to inform you that your chance of securing a seat in a govt. medical college in West Bengal is almost nil.
The last govt. medical college generally opted is Maldah Medical College and Hospital for which the cutoff scores lie in the range of 475-480 for the years 2017-18.
I sincerely hope you have a breathtaking result in AIIMS or JIPMER.

All the Best.
