Based on your category rank, under All India seat you might NOT be able to get into majority of NIT or IIITs under Other State quota. However, you may have a good chance in Home State quota depending on the state. According to your profile, I presume your son is from Jharkhand; thus, even if you apply for home state quota, you will not be able to obtain any branch nit Jamshedpur in the csab special round counselling.

As per your profile I can assume that your son belongs from jharkhand, then also by applying home state quota, there is no chance of getting any branch nit jamshedpur, in csab special round counselling. Also there is no chance for your to get any iiits.

But you can get some branches in some gftis like mizoram university, Ghani Khan Choudhury Institute of Engineering & Technology, Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, etc in csab special round counseling.
