LPU or Lovely professional University is a private state university which is approved by UGC. For admission to different courses, a student need to qualify the LPU NEST examination (also they accept some national examinations for admission to some courses).

Now if you are asked to submit the 12th marks, then you have to submit your class 12th board examination score. If you are a PUC student, then you need to submit the PUC 2nd year marks which is equivalent to the 12th marks for other boards.
