A candidate for admission shall be regarded as a local candidate in relation to a local area that is OU or Osmania University, it includes the districts of Mahabubnagar, Ranga reddy, Hyderabad, Medak, Nalgonda, Warangal, khammam, karimnagar, Nizamabad, Alidabad.
And NL stands for Non-Local region.

Candidates who've resided in the state of T.S. for a total period of 10 years or more excluding the period of study outside the state.
Candidates either whose parents has resided in the state for a total period of 10 years or more excluding the periods of employment outside the state.
Candidates either whose parents is employed in the state of T.S. in the state or central public sector corporations, local bodies, universities abd similar quasi government institutions within the state, at the time of submitting the application.
Candidates who are spouses of these employed in the state of T.S. or central government, public sector corporations, local bodies, universities and other similar quasi government institutions within this state, at the time of submitting the application.

Candidates coming under any of these Categories given above are treated as Non Local to all the three university areas (OU/ AU/ SVU).
