In Wbjee there are total 9 defence quota seats are available but In Jadavpur University there are only 2 defence quota seats are available the other 7 defence quota seats are given to the other govt. engineering colleges.And the authority of jadavpur univeristy  will decides to which branch the seats will be given.

Other than Defence quota there is home quota available in which 90% seats are available for the peoples of West Bangal.
