you will apply for open category along with your reservation category. there will be respective categorical cutoff for other state quota in combination to reservation category.

Usually cutoff for open category is even lower than home state quota general category. if you have reservation then it will help you in some extent.

Your category for karnataka college will be :- open category+ reservation category( Gen/OBC/ST/SC/PwD)
