For getting admission into the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs), National Institute of Technology (NITs), Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs), and Government Funded Technical Institutions (GFTIs), the Admission is done on the basis of JEE Entrance Examinations.

They had a Criteria for minimum 75% marks in the Class 12 Boards Examinations, but in the year 2020 because of the Pandemic, NTA has decided to remove that eligibility criteria because of disruption in the Boards Examinations.
