Hello viral,

Tuition fee waiver scheme (TFWS) of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) will be made mandatory in all the technical colleges. This scheme is for economically backwards students including women and also for handicapped students.

Yes, as per norms it is mandatory to provide, 5% of the total seats in all engineering colleges (both private and government) under TFW seats scheme.
