Dear aspirant

There are two counselling procedures-JOSSA for main counselling, CSAB for remaining counselling. In both the  cases for general candidates AIR is used and for category students , Category Rank is used.

In the opening and closing rank sheet , JOSAA shows category rank while CSAB shows AIR even though both use category rank for admission.

According to CSAB rounds , for general closing rank for Home State was AIR 3033 and there were no seats left for this round for ews.

According to Jossa round 7, the closing rank for Other State was category rank  272 for general ews and closing rank for Home State was category rank 400.
