Hello aspirant, the most convenient way to change your branch is -

• Score 75% marks
• Have no back logs in both of the semesters of first year.
• Have a good grace mark I first year.

This will be the most important guidelines to change branch after year 1. Mechanical is by far a great branch of engineering. It will be great if you don't change it later.
