Is birth certificate sufficient for proof of nativity?

Hi Aspirant

Birth Certificate prooves only  your nationality and not where you are currently staying or from where you are.

You need residential certificate to proove that you are resident of that particular state.

In any examination,while counselling you need to produce your residential certificate .Though birth certificate is also asked to bring but residential certificate is important for admission .

If you don't have then you can visit your nearby block office and apply for it.
