Also, They offer many other specialisations as well to its studernts to choose from according to their interests. In main branch at Thapar University,  Patiala, branch for Computer Engineering is COE , whereas at its other branch that is derabassi campus which is near chandigarh has Computer Engineering names CSE , both have most of the subjects same . Better is COE at Thapar University at the main campus. Also CSE is newly introduced,  this year will be its second batch only.
