CAT is the entrance exam for MBA and not for BBA. The admission for BBA for Chandigarh university is based on the merit of the class 12 exam.

CAT exams are the common entrance exams that are usually for the MBA ,IIM have IIMCAT exams where as DU had JAT exams and ipu,NMINS have entrance exams .SET exams are conducted at Symbiosis for the students.CAT is important for MBA not BBA

CAT (common admission test) is an entrance exam you need to write in order to take admission for MBA.

It is the most acceptable entrance exam conducted by any of the IIM’s (Indian Institute of Management) every year with more than 120 B-school accepting it in India. However, we cannot say its a compulsory exam for MBA students as some other top b-schools and states have their own entrance exams held for getting admission for MBA in those institutes and state colleges.
