The hostel available on the campus is nice. The mess is good, and the option to have food from the mess or canteen is good. Hostel rooms are totally new and well-furnished.

Living in hostel gives you opportunity to interract with students from different places and thoughts. It also makes you independent and responsible .

and living at someone's house doesn't give you that much independence. 

rest depends on your comfort zone and interest.
