Yes this is true..
If you want to take admission through EWS quota, then EWS quota certificate is issued after or on 31st of March '19.
You should have check the details on du portal also.
If it was issued before this then you have to renewed your certificated from the court.

EWS and income certificate means the same..
EWS is economically weaker section.
The issued date is on or after 31 March 2019
