No proper Engineering College should charge that amount of money from students. I really don't think that KIIT would charge 15 lakh per annum. You have made a mistake, as it's only 1.5 lakh per semester. This is way too high in my opinion. But... KIIT faculty are very friendly, seniors are helpful and there is zero ragging. Also students who come by management quota is very less,so the quality of your fellow students are good. KIIT is also better at placements.

Now for SRM, a lot of students are always saying bad things about this University and it's upto you to choose. Lots of college fests and extra curricular activities are happening in SRM. Since it is located in a major city, placement opportunities are higher.

If you have no problem in spending money, then do it. It is your future and you should get the best education possible.

I think you can't get any branch in SRM with this rank or if you can then you will have to pay 20 lakh fees for 4 years. 

If you are rady to pay this much fee then you can surely join SRM or else you can switch to KIIT. Please opt for CSE in these.
