The eligibility is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (Engg.) (any stream) 3 years after 10th Or 2 years after 10+2 (Non-Medical) Or B.Sc. (Non-Medical) Or B.Sc. (Computer Science) Or BCA or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST. (https://nest.lpu.in/LET/index.php)

(5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants)

The Admission Criteria is Merit in LPUNEST, subject to fulfilling eligibility criteria.

Yes you have a chance to take lateral entry at LPU. For joining as lateral entry student you need to write the LPUNEST exam, if you qualify in that you can get seat in LPU. Following are the exam details:
NEST will have physics, chemistry, maths, biology, English.
Test scheme will be like this
Either physics, chemistry, english, maths
Or physics, chemistry, english, biology.
Physics: 20 questions of 4 marks each.
Chemistry: 20 questions of 4 marks each.
Biology: 20 questions of 4 marks each.
Maths: 20 questions of 4 marks each.
English: 15 questions of 2 marks each.
When we talk about fee, details are as follows:
Fee for 1 year is 1,26,000.
Fee for 3 years will be 3,78,000.
We can estimate fee for 3 years it will be approximately 4,00,000 to 4,50,000.
