The EE (Electrical Engineering) department failed to get NBA accreditation in 2017. The placements are dismal. There are little or virtually no opportunities in EE core companies.

All core departments at NSEC have this problem as core disciplines have been started quite recently and the department faculty is also on the road to gaining much needed experience and practice.

Only option is to pursue GATE and apply for PSU jobs or go for masters. Many students have gone to great universities, both IITs, foreign schools and others via GATE scores and GRE. If you work hard, this is possible.

But placements are absolutely dismal for EE.
