Depends on what other options you are having.

Being an alumnus I can say for sure that the college life was lively and the Infrastructure part is improving a lot. What ever infrastructure we had, that was good enough for all round development during our times. College life was a bit less exciting as compared to our times (from the feedback from our beloved juniors), however is also improving in a positive light.

I still think it's one of the premier institutes and would stay to be. I'd surely advise you to go for it provided you have no other better ranked colleges available.
