Hii,Let me tell you about nit srinagar.No it's not good in any way . CS branch placements are good , Mechanical is great. Don't ever opt for CIVIL , ELECTRONICS OR ELECTRICAL because their placements have gone down drastically in recent years . Good for Kashmiri people because they get the benefit of regionalism and partiality and hence become toppers. I didnt find Tamil students in my batch or in my immediate junior batch . There were a lot of my friends  from AP. So I would say please don't opt for such a good for nothing partial institute with anti-national teachers and anti-national sentiments everywhere around you
