SASTRA University deserves NIRF ranking due to following reasons :

1.Lab facilities are second to none .

2. Sheer amount of research work which SASTRA incubates outnumbers most of the universities down south barring few (IIT MADRAS , NIT TRICHY , VIT VELLORE )

3. Faculty present in SASTRA are mostly doctorate or they are forced by the system which SASTRA follows religiously to pursue PHD .
